Elevator Version ~ Why Should I Care? ~ Letters & Links
Details ~ Frequently Asked Questions

The Elevator Version

Residents have found over $10 million in Free Cash and another $22 million in other accounts' reserves that are well above the state and even FinCom's own guidelines.

Ths issue is that our taxes went up over 7% this year and are now nearly the highest in the state, while excess reserves just sit there.

The state recommends we maintain Free Cash somewhere between $2 - $3.5 million, instead of $10 million.

Article 3 is to apply at least $4 million in tax relief, while still leaving a very heatlhy cushion of Free Cash.
