2010 Ranking by Boston.com

At the elementary level, Wayland seems to be closing its own achievement gap - the one between Happy Hollow and Claypit Hill Schools. However, it seems that instead of Happy Hollow catching up with Claypit Hill, some of Claypit's scores are coming down to meet Happy Hollow.

As you review the chart below, keep in mind that the higher our number, the more schools are ahead of us in the ranking, which is not where we want to be. We want to be #1. You can view the Boston.com article and data here.

Revere is not on our list of peer towns, but maybe it should be:
3rd Grade English:
Claypit Hill - #291 / Happy Hollow - #436
Beachmont Veterans Memorial School (a public school), Revere - #1

3rd Grade Math:
Clayit Hill - #304 / Happy Hollow - #283
Beachmont Veterans Memorial School, Revere - #1
